Skåne has a spot for every wind direction! You can kite here most of the days espcially in Höllviken, Ljunghusen and Skanör/Falsterbo there is wind most of the time and works when everything else is off-shore,

Skanör/Falsterbo peninsula well-known for all the level spot. The water stays fairly flat between waves, so you can fully focus on your take-offs.

On the beach, the wind and kitesurfing areas are marked with a pole with a small green flag. Vellinge municipality, together with the surfers themselves, have developed the areas for kite and wind surfing. The marked green area on maps are the zones that allows to kitesurf during the summer and the school holidays (15 June to 15 August). After the summer season you can also go windsurfing and kitesurfing in other spots, except where it is forbidden.

You have many options when it comes to accommodation. You can rent a place in Skanör, hotels or park your camper in the marina or the falsterbo camping. Both are great options if you are only staying for a couple of days and you can enjoy long walks along the beach or some golf courses on the local club if that's your thing.

Skanör is only a 25-minutes drive from Malmö. Just follow the E6 road south towards Trelleborg and change to road 100 after passing Vellinge. You can even take the bus for about 100 SEK both ways.

If you are not from Sweden, the best option is to Copenhagen (Kastrup Airport) and then take the Öresund train to Malmö and then the bus to Skanör.
